General Program Schedule for 2021/2022

  • Application opens August 3 and closes September 15, 2021
  • Intro to Woody ID offered in Sept/Oct (recommended prerequisite)
  • Master Gardener Part A course starts Saturday, October 23, 2021
  • Master Gardener Part B course starts in Saturday, January 8, 2022
  • Class is from 9:00 am to noon on Saturdays
  • New for this year, an online class will be hosted concurrently with the (Sold Out) in-person class*

The curriculum is varied and encompasses a variety of topics. There is an emphasis on gardening successfully “under the arch” in our Calgary climate. Here are the modules that will be covered in this Master Gardener program.

Master Gardener course schedule

Part A (October to December)Part B (January to April )
Saturdays from October 23 to December 18, 2021 from 9:00 am to noon. The in-person session will be hosted at the Winston Heights/Mountview Community Association (520 27 Ave NE). The online program is offered concurrently using Microsoft Teams. Introduction to Woody IDStarts Saturday, September 11 and runs for five Saturday mornings (9:00 am to noon) until October 16 (excludes October 9). Cost $275 for Society members and $325 for non-members.
