General Program Schedule for 2022/2023

  • Application opens August 3 and closes September 15, 2022
  • Intro to Woody ID offered in Sept/Oct (recommended prerequisite)
  • Garden Fundamentals (recommended prerequisite for less experienced/new to Calgary gardeners) offered ON-DEMAND
  • Master Gardener Part A course starts Tuesday, October 25, 2022 and runs until Tuesday, December 20, 2022
  • Master Gardener Part B course starts Tuesday, January 17, 2023 and runs until Tuesday, April 4, 2023
  • Class is from 7:00-9:00 pm on both Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • The online class will be hosted concurrently with the in-person class*

The curriculum is varied and encompasses a variety of topics. There is an emphasis on gardening successfully “under the arch” in our Calgary climate. Here are the modules that will be covered in this Master Gardener program.

* Alberta Health Services public health requirements permitting.
