The Calgary Horticultural Society encourages the development and growth of community gardens. Support for community gardens directly ties to our mandate to educate, promote and support gardening in the Calgary area. Our work with community gardens is linked to our values: “Connect and support new and experienced gardeners” and “Promote learning and successful gardening.”
We offer programs for community gardens in partnership with The City of Calgary. One of these program is our Kitchen Table Talks.
