Who are Seed to Table Ambassadors?
- volunteers who want to grow their skills in low-input food gardening and share their knowledge and learnings with others
What do they do?
- share their knowledge about gardening, the Seed to Table program, the circular economy and the Calgary Horticultural Society at events or during programs, at local community gardens and/or informally to friends, family and neighbours
Working in Gardens
This year’s ambassadors are working in 2 gardens:
The ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen Garden in Mount Royal – 5302 Forand St. SW
The Awaken Garden – 6508 Bowwood Dr NW

Notes:
- you are welcome to sign up at one or both gardens!
- Opportunities that say:
‘Nutrien’ mean you will be working with a team of Nutrien employees who may or may not have gardening experience
‘Class’ mean you will be working with the public who registers for the session through the Calgary Horticultural Society, who again could have a range of experience. Chef D’arcy will also be at these sessions
‘Ambassador only’ refer to sessions that are work bees of ambassadors and most often will be led by Calhort staff or second year ambassadors

Fall Wrap-Up Meal
