We have Publications!
The 2021 Gardening Calendar features photos of Calgary and area gardens, provides monthly tips, and includes seed planting charts for ornamentals and edibles. We have a collected the contributions for our 2022 calendar. The calendar should be available in time for holiday gift-giving.
The Society also has a gardening journal, The Growing Journal. The journal allows for daily and monthly tracking, plant database and plant log sections for recording what’s been planted in what conditions, an area to record what insects are being found and when, places to sketch, areas to capture ideas, Words of Wisdom and checklists. There’s even a pocket for storing seed packets or plant tags. It’s a great tool for an ardent gardener. The journal may be purchased for $20. If you would like to see the journal prior to purchasing, please call the office to make an appointment to visit.
There are only a few copies of the current issue left. We are working on updating the journal for 2022.
Purchasing these publications help fund Society programs and initiatives.
