Our forum utilizes a very simple and fast-loading website software in order to make it easy to use and accessible for all kinds of devices — tablets, laptops, desktops and smartphones.  We have also decided to limit the ability to upload photos directly to our website.

Images take up a lot of space, and a website with too many images becomes slow and unstable.  For this reason, we are providing you with this step-by-step tutorial for adding images to your forum posts through a third-party image hosting service.

Step 1: Navigate to the TinyPic website (www.tinypic.com)

Step 2: Click on the “Browse” button to select the photo on your device.

Step 3: Select “Message Board” in the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Enter the code that appears on the screen to prove you are not a spam robot.

Step 5: Copy the code labeled “HTML code for websites”

Step 6: Paste the code into your forum post.  It’s best to paste your image code at the beginning of your post (on the first line) or at the end of the post (on the last line).

BONUS: If you think you’ll be uploading a lot of photos to TinyPic for use on our forums, you may want to create an account on their site.  This enables you to manage pictures you’ve uploaded, group them into albums and share them with other people using e-mail or social meda.

Copyright Note: TinyPic does not claim any ownership of the images you upload.  It is your responsibility to post images that you have permission to use, or that you have created.
