The Calgary Horticultural Society has moved its online charitable donation portal to ATB Cares. This change means that your donation gives even more to the Society. ATB has a matching program that can add 20% to each dollar donated. Another benefit is you will not need to wait for a tax receipt. When donations are made through this portal, automatic tax receipts are issued. Your support matters. Thank you for supporting the Calgary Horticultural Society. Donate today.
If you would prefer to visit the office (208 50 Avenue SW) to make your donation in person, please call 403.287.3469 to arrange an appointment. Donation can also be accepted by telephone.
Your Support Matters
Calgary Horticultural Society is a member-based society and registered Canadian charity. The Calgary Horticultural Society was founded in 1908 and exists because of the generosity of members, individuals and corporations that believe in the Society’s mission. We receive our operating budget wholly from the sale of memberships, grants, corporate sponsorships, and private donations.
Private donations help us to offer a full range of programs and services to gardeners in Calgary.
Your support matters—it helps us continue our mission to enrich the lives of Calgarians by supporting gardening and the enhancement of the environment.
Your support matters—it helps us educate for successful gardening in Calgary’s unique climate through our program of talks and workshops.
Your support matters—it helps us to train a new group of horticultural experts with our Master Gardener Program.
Your support matters—it helps us support Calgary’s Community Gardens with a staff member dedicated to providing advice, education and networking opportunities.
Your support matters—it helps us promote and celebrate gardening through our annual Garden Show.
Help keep us growing! Each and every donation directly supports us to deliver our services and programs. The Society is a registered Canadian charity (# 118823624RR0001). Donations of $20 or more made by phone, mail, or at the office will receive a charitable tax receipt from the Calgary Horticultural Society.
