Garden Competition. We are currently recruiting volunteers to act as "gatesitters" at the winning gardens on Saturday July 26th & Sunday July 27th. Shifts are four hours long, and each volunteer receives one free passport to view the gardens.
2009 Garden Show. Planning begins soon for next year's Garden Show and there are openings on the committee. This is a great event to be a part of, and there are lots of new plans for 2009 to contribute to. We will require new volunteers to handle the following program areas, Ask the Expert and Keynote Speakers.
Newsletter. The newsletter articles are written by volunteers just like you. If you have horticultural knowledge and a flair for the written word, we would like to have you contribute to the newsletter.
Bus Tours. Each year a number of bus tours are arranged for members. We are currently seeking a new chair or co-chairperson for this committee. If you enjoy taking these relaxing trips, perhaps you might like to make the arrangements for them and also seek out new opportunities.
Society Office Garden Care. Calling all weed haters! The Society garden is in dire need of help. We would like to recruit a volunteer who will coordinate a small team of gardeners to keep the Society garden in tip top shape.
