Visit our Affiliate member's booths in the Gallery on the Green. Learn about Community Gardens, sustainable gardening practices and permaculture from local experts. Find out how to choose the best trees, shrubs and plants for our unique growing conditions. Learn how to grow and use herbs.
Bring your friends and family and enjoy beautiful Spruce Meadows, have lunch, shop and learn!

Did you know that the Garden Show is the Society's major annual fundraiser?  The Society strives to offer educational programs throughout the year to keep Calgary 'growing'. We offer workshops, both in our office location and out in the community, have speakers who can come to your place of business for lunch and learns, host regular member speaker evenings (non-members may attend as guests for $10.00) and have a teaching garden surrounding our office.
Community Gardens are also supported through the Society providing help from starting a garden to workshops on how to get the best from your plot to harvest time activities.
Our Calgary Gardening member newsletter/magazine is full of articles written by local experts who share their knowledge and experience gardening in our zone 3 climate. Thanks to our volunteers and supporters we are able to keep membership prices within the reach of most Calgarians. Funds from the Garden Show help as well.
So come out and enjoy a day (or two) at beautiful Spruce Meadows and support your local Horticultural Society!
